This Operations Tool displays a Parts Explosion Report for a Table product with five component parts.  The tops, legs, short rails and long rails are purchased; while the tables and leg assemblies are assembled in house.  Some quantities are variable, while the basic hierarchy of production/assembly is fixed.  The relationships of part inventories and how they are affected by each master schedule change, can be examined using this tool.  Purchase Order and Shop Order requirements for each week are the major outcomes of this report.
