This Project Management tool teaches the relationships between activities in a project.  It calculates the critical path and time for the given network (project).  Activity times and costs can be changed to examine their effects on the project. The Crash Sequence Report is used to display how the network could be reduced one step at a time.

The network begins with time estimates only.  The critical path and time are shown by pressing the 'Display' button.  Branch time can be changed by using the up/down buttons by each branch in the Input window.  The 'ReSet' button clears the previous display to allow for new inputs.

To include crash time and cost, select the 'Crash' option in the Input window.  New time and cost entries are now enabled.  Press the 'Display' button to get the new critical path and time calculations.  Also displayed is Crash Sequence Report.  It shows the sequence of cost and branch changes that are necessary to get to the next lower critical time.  The final entry represents the least time the network can be crashed.
